As built documentation can be used for various reasons. In this project, 2D CAD drawings were used by our client to prove renovation works in a beautiful hotel in the island of Scopelos, Greece.

In the field
The hotel and the surrounding area were scanned with Leica RTC360 laser scanner via 205 laser scanner set up positions. Additional instrumentation - Leica TDRA6000 industrial total station with Special black & white targets were used to register scanning setups and to georeferenced the total cloud in a local coordinate system.

In the office
For the registration and further processing of the point cloud data our team used Leica Cyclone. After processing, the unified point cloud (indicated areas) was utilized for the extraction of 2D CAD drawings using Leica Cloudworx & AutoCAD.
